Repairs

Please note that we only repair our own products as well as some Barbara Shaum Products

Common Repairs:

  • Resoling sandals

  • Replacing or adding Birkenstock to sandals

  • Replacing straps of sandals

  • Replacing straps of our handbags

  • Restitching buckles on belts or wristband clasps

We do charge for repairs - and the charge depends on what work is required. However, the charge is always less than the cost of a new item - and you will be able to get much more use out of it!

In Store:

If you are in New York City, please feel free to bring your older worn & used products in to our store for a repair.

We will take a look at your item and give you our assessment if a repair can be done and if it is worth it to proceed. Unfortunately, some items may reach a point where they cannot be repaired.

By Mail:

We request that you contact us before sending in your item to be repaired. We can then tentatively arrange your repair and confirm it once we take a look at your item. We do ask that you pay for return shipping as well as the repair cost.

Please DO NOT include any accessories - such as sandal bags - in your repair shipment.

Please include your invoice for the repair (if you have one) and/or a note with your full information (Name, phone, email, address, reason for repair).

We prefer that you use UPS if possible (unfortunately, USPS packages may be held at the post office instead of being properly delivered).
